The db Asia Australian Masters 2024

the db Asia Australia Masters is a competition solely dedicated to the Asia-Pacific powerhouse. Australia proved long ago they can do anything brilliantly, mastering technique and innovation in winemaking. Down Under put Shiraz in the spotlight, with elegant and full-bodied expressions, and made a name for producing fantastic blends and varietals from other international varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache or Chardonnay. The diversity of wine production in Australia doesn’t stop there: the country has also shown it can master more regional varieties, such as Sangiovese, Glera, Riesling or Nebbiolo.

the db Asia Australia Masters aims at rewarding the best wines produced in Australia, from any style or region. All wines entered will be judged exclusively by style and price. The judging panel, chaired by the drinks business Asia, will be composed of leading wine experts, sommeliers and senior buyers. The wines will be tasted blind and the panel will award the best wines with medals from Bronze through to Gold, with the opportunity to be rewarded a Master for exceptional wines.
