With the increasing number of wines being packaged in single serve formats, as well as the rising quantities of drinks housed in aluminium and plastic containers, we are delighted to host a blind tasting for those many products now sold in something other than the standard 75cl glass bottle.
While consumer acceptance for small and alternative formats is growing in the wine category, people are still lacking confidence in the quality of what’s on sale. This competition is designed to test the theory that wine can still taste great in a single serve can or bottle, as well as bag in box or pouch, and to find the best examples of their type.
