The db Asia Chilean Masters 2024

the db Asia Chile Masters shines a light on one of the most exciting wine destinations in South America. Chile is a long, narrow country nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountains, benefitting from an incredible range of terroirs. Between cooler coastal zones, warmer inland valleys, desert and mountainous areas, Chile is able to produce a myriad of wine styles – from round and easy drinking to fine and age-worthy wines. The country is well-known for its Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and is increasingly gaining recognition for its production of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Carménère. Thanks to its diversity, its mild Mediterranean climate and its successful exports since the 1990s, Chile remarkably established its mark on the global wine scene.

the db Asia Chile Masters aims at celebrating some of the best wines produced in South America. All wines entered will be judged exclusively by style and price. The judging panel, chaired by the drinks business Asia, will be composed of leading wine experts, sommeliers and senior buyers. The wines will be tasted blind and the panel will award the best wines with medals from Bronze through to Gold, with the opportunity to be rewarded a Master for exceptional wines.
