The Tuscan Masters 2019

Tuscany produces some of Italy’s most famous and highest quality wines.

The picturesque region is also home to some of the most world renowned Italian wine production areas: DOCs and DOCGs including Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Bolgheri and the rapidly up-and-coming Maremma.

However, there is far more diversity to explore in the wines from Tuscany, as the global export markets are increasingly discovering.

The Tuscan Masters will reward the best Tuscan wines in each category, and will be judged blind by a panel of highly regarded judges, including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and Italian wine experts. The judges will award the best wines with medals from Bronze through to Gold, with the opportunity to be awarded a Master for exceptional wines. The competition promises to be a highly interesting tasting which should reveal some important insights about the high quality of wines being produced across Tuscany.
